Anti-party activities will not be tolerated, says TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has warned TDP party members against anti-party activities and negligence. He emphasized the need to counter misinformation from the YSR Congress Party and focus on government development projects.
Why it matters
This reflects the ongoing political rivalry in Andhra Pradesh and the internal efforts of the ruling party to maintain discipline and electoral momentum.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu said that he would not tolerate anti-party activities and negligence in taking care of the cadres, saying that the TDP would not have come thus far without the sweat and toil of the grassroots workers.
“The single-point agenda of everyone in the party should be to secure more votes than what was polled in the previous elections,” Mr. Naidu exhorted while speaking at a training programme for the party’s booth and ward level functionaries at the TDP central office on Saturday.
Mr. Naidu said the party’s ideology should be understood and the good work done by the government in the last two years explained to the people to counter the ‘false propaganda unleashed by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP)’. It appears that the party did not learn lessons from its debacle in the 2024 elections, he said.
