Fisherfolk and coastal residents were advised to stay away from two designated drop zones near Cagayan during China's scheduled Long March 7A rocket launch from Hainan on Aug. 10.
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) imposed temporary restrictions and navigational warnings in the affected waters and urged the public not to retrieve suspected rocket debris.
The launch comes after China's Jielong-3 rocket on Aug. 5, Long March 6A on July 30, and Yinli-1 (Y4) on July 22, all prompting Philippine maritime safety advisories.
