Another COVID-19 death reported in A.P., three more test positive
Andhra Pradesh health officials reported a new COVID-19 death and three additional positive cases. The deceased patient had multiple underlying health conditions, and authorities are monitoring the status of other active cases.

Close on the heels of two COVID-19 deaths in Andhra Pradesh, another person with the infection reportedly died, while three more positive cases—two in Mangalagiri and one in Visakhapatnam—have been identified.
According to the Health Department, a 66-year-old man, who had respiratory issues, pneumonia, diabetes and hypertension and kidney problems, tested positive for the coronavirus on July 3. He was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa, then to Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SWIMS), Tirupati and a private hospital. He died on Wednesday (July 15). The death has been attributed to comorbidities, and not the COVID-19 infection alone.
