Another Australian found safe after Nepal
An eighth Australian has been found safe following devastating floods in Nepal and Tibet, though 35 others remain unaccounted for. Rescue efforts are currently focused on hydropower tunnel projects where many people are believed to be trapped.

The ABC understands that the person was not in the disaster zone.
Thirty-five other Australians remain unaccounted-for following the disaster.

The person is the eighth Australian to be found since the floods, with 35 others still unaccounted-for.
Of those, 34 were on the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage, while one was not part of the tour.
For many Australian families, a relatively small area of mountainous terrain near the Nepal-Tibet border has become critical in the search for survivors, or at least answers.
