Annual Credit Plan envisions a credit outlay of ₹54,438 crore for Krishnagiri

The Annual Credit Plan (ACP) for Krishnagiri district was released by Collector C. Dinesh Kumar at the Collectorate on Saturday (September 26).

The ACP envisions a total credit outlay of ₹54,438.99 crore for 2026-27. Of this, ₹30,906.64 crore (56.8%) has been earmarked for the priority sector and ₹23,532.34 crore (43.2%) for the non-priority sector.

The sector-wise allocation entails ₹20,539.36 crore towards agriculture, earmarking the largest share, reflecting the predominantly agrarian nature of the district. MSMEs have been allocated ₹8,345.82 crore to support the auto cluster in Hosur and the granite cluster in Jagadevi/Bargur. Other priority sectors such as education, housing, renewable energy, social infrastructure, and export credit entail an allocation of ₹2,021.46 crore .
