Anne Hathaway has laughed off the social media speculation that she’s faking her pregnancy.

The 43-year-old actor addressed the claims in a light-hearted Instagram post on Monday after a maternity-inspired look she wore at the weekend filled a comments section with fake-pregnancy chatter.

In a behind-the-scenes Instagram post, Hathaway shut down the rumours.

“Fake hair, real bump. Enjoy The @endofoakstreet Block Party chaos with me as my outfit literally melts in the heat!!” she wrote.

The video showed members of her styling team preparing her for the event, including a hairstylist attaching extensions to add volume to her ponytail. Hathaway then points to her head, “It’s not my hair.”

The Oscar-winning star was attending the Los Angeles premiere of her new film, The End of Oak Street , where she opted for an outfit that showed off her midriff.
