Anilkumar to inaugurate Independence Day celebrations in Kozhikode

Revenue Minister A.P. Anilkumar will hoist the national flag at the Kozhikode district-level Independence Day celebrations at Captain Vikram Ground in West Hill on August 15. He will also receive the salute at the ceremonial parade.
As many as 22 platoons comprising personnel from various police units, Excise department, National Cadet Corps, Fire and Rescue Services, Forest department, Scouts and Guides, and the Student Police Cadet will participate in the parade.
The first rehearsal for the parade was held on Monday (August 10). Another rehearsal will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday (August 11). A full-dress rehearsal is scheduled for 7.30 a.m. on August 13.
