Leaders of the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Association, affiliated with AITUC, demanded that the government remove unnecessary apps and address their problems.
Speaking at the State council meeting here on Sunday (July 19, 2026), association State general secretary J. Lalithamma alleged that the government, which had assured a salary hike and consideration of other demands during the State-wide strike, was increasing the burden day by day and was not releasing the bills promptly.
Anganwadi workers and helpers have expressed concern over the hike in prices of diesel and cooking gas, as well as the monitoring of Navachetan and other State and Central government apps, Ms. Lalithamma said.
