ANF seizes 3,825kg of drugs in Balochistan operation

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized 3,825 kilograms of drugs during an intelligence-based operation in Kech district of Balochistan, an ANF spokesperson said on Tuesday.
According to the spokesperson, the operation was conducted at a suspected hideout in the Josak area of Kech following intelligence reports about a drug-trafficking network.
The seized contraband included 2,454kg of hashish, 1,363kg of methamphetamine (ice) and 8kg of heroin, with the total haul estimated to be worth more than Rs560 million.
The ANF said the drugs had been smuggled into Pakistan from Afghanistan and were temporarily stored at a compound before being transported abroad through the sea route.
