This is reported by Android Authority. Upon reviewing the Link to Windows code, a new feature was discovered – the mobile app will allow users to remotely shut down, restart or put their PC into sleep mode from an Android smartphone. The app will also allow users to restart their computer to install Windows updates. Depending on the option selected, the app may send you a notification. For example, the shutdown and restart commands are accompanied by a warning that unsaved work may be lost.
