Android OEMs pledge allegiance to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 are now official , and most of the big names in the Android sphere have already confirmed their next-gen devices with the new chips.

Xiaomi is first in line with its 18 series. The 18 Pro will arrive with the standard 8 Elite Gen 6, while the 18 Pro Max will feature the Extreme version of the chip. Both phones will be introduced later today in China.

Honor will feature the top-notch 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 in its Magic9 Pro Max, which is launching on September 28.
