Andhra Pradesh State Police Sports and Games Meet begins
Andhra Pradesh DGP Harish Kumar Gupta inaugurated the first-ever State Police Sports and Games Meet in Mangalagiri. The event encourages 1,900 participating officers to prioritize physical fitness and stress management through regular athletic activity.

Mr. Harish Kumar Gupta was speaking after inaugurated the four-day Andhra Pradesh State Police Sports and Games Meet – 2026, at the APSP 6th Battalion in Mangalagiri on Tuesday.
About 1,900 police personnel from all over the State are participating in the meet being organised for the first time in the State. Sixteen teams, including ministerial staff, various ranges and units, are participating.
Mr. Harish Kumar Gupta advised the police officers to play sports and games of their choice regularly to relieve themselves from stress and maintain good health.
