Andhra Pradesh registers 18% growth in Commercial Taxes collection

Andhra Pradesh has recorded Commercial Taxes collection of ₹25,449.80 crore up to August 2026, up from ₹21,558.09 crore the previous year, registering an increase of 18.05%.
Building on the growth achieved in FY 2025-26, the Commercial Taxes Department maintained its trajectory of disciplined revenue mobilisation, said Babu A, Chief Commissioner of State Tax, in a release.
In August 2026, the total collection stood at ₹4,983.84 crore, registering a rise of 10.79%, which was ₹485.41 crore higher than in August 2025. Cumulatively, the net GST collection up to August 2026 rose to ₹16,452.62 crore, up from ₹13,970.71 crore registered up to August 2025, a growth of 18%., the release added.
The Net GST collection in August 2026 rose 6.43% year on year, from ₹2,977.24 crore in August 2025 to ₹3,168.65 crore.
