Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice urges DSNLU students to set clear goals and aspire to be pioneers

Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice and Damodaram Sanjeevaiah National Law University (DSNLU) Chancellor Justice Lisa Gill visited the university campus here on Saturday, inaugurating key infrastructure and interacting with students.

Justice Gill inaugurated a newly constructed girls’ hostel and two conference halls. She later visited various academic departments, observed classroom sessions and interacted with students.

Justice Gill advised students to set clear goals early in their academic journey and work consistently towards achieving them. She also appreciated the significant presence of women students on the campus.

Responding to queries on the position of women in the legal profession, she said gender representation in the judiciary had improved significantly. She noted that women accounted for about 70% of enrolment in the Punjab and Haryana High Court and around 65% in several other High Courts, describing the trend as a sign of progress.
