Government notifies interim fee structure for private medical, dental colleges

The State government on Saturday notified the interim fee structure for 2026-27 for super-speciality, postgraduate (PG) and undergraduate (UG) courses in private unaided medical and dental colleges, enhancing the existing fee by 15% for super-speciality and PG courses and by 10% for UG courses.

The interim fee structure was notified in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 7 of the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act, 1983. The fee structure will be subject to the final fixation and recommendations of the A.P. Higher Education Fee Regulatory and Monitoring Committee and the directions or outcome of writ petitions pending before the Andhra Pradesh High Court and the Supreme Court.

Separate Government Orders (RT Nos. 785, 786 and 787) were issued to this effect by G. Veerapandian, Secretary, Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department.
