Andhra Pradesh DGP launches AI-based drone monitoring, SafeStay AP

Two technology-driven services aimed at strengthening policing and improving public safety were launched in Guntur on Tuesday.

Andhra Pradesh Director-General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta, along with Guntur Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal, inaugurated the AI-based Centralised Drone Monitoring Portal (CDMP) and unveiled the SafeStay AP application and their logos.

The CDMP will enable police officials to monitor live feeds from drones deployed across Andhra Pradesh through a centralised dashboard. It incorporates AI-based monitoring and advanced analytics to provide real-time situational awareness and facilitate a quick response.

The portal has a role-based access control (RBAC) system, allowing authorised officials to access information securely. It enables police to monitor drone feeds without relying on public streaming platforms.
