ANC condemns rape, murder threats towards March and March leader

The ANC has condemned violent threats made against activist Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma and is investigating whether the perpetrator is a party member. Ngobese-Zuma has filed a police report following the threats made on social media.

The African National Congress (ANC) has condemned social media calls for the rape and killing of March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma.
The party said it’s also investigating whether the man identified as Sello Lemonka Gemba, who made the remarks, is a member of the ANC.
It said the threats are vile and incompatible with the values of the ANC.
Ngobese-Zuma said she opened a case against Gemba at the Durban Central Police Station on Tuesday.
