AMUDA jurisdiction expanded to 1,765 sq. kms in Konaseema dist.

The Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department has expanded the jurisdiction of the Amalapuram Urban Development Authority (AMUDA) to 1,765 square kilometers. This expansion incorporates the Ramachandrapuram municipality and five additional mandals into the urban body.

The Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department has expanded the jurisdiction of the Amalapuram Urban Development Authority (AMUDA) from 896 sq. kms to 1,765 sq. kms by including Ramachandrapuram municipality and five mandals under the limits of the urban body in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema District. A GO. No. 203 was issued on the extension of the jurisdiction of the AMUDA.
“The Ramachandrapuram Municipality and five mandals – Ravulapalem, Atreyapuram, Alamuru, K. Gangavaram and Ramachandrapuram – are now part of the AMUDA,” AMUDA Chairman Allada Swamy Naidu said.
