Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Amaravati campus hosted Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh on Sunday (September 20, 2026) as part of the nationwide “100 Weeks Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan”.
Students and faculty members participated in a signature campaign and pledged their commitment to building a drug-free society. The programme focused on raising awareness about substance abuse and encouraging young people to adopt healthy lifestyles and promote the message within their communities.

Maheswara Raju, Superintendent of Police, EAGLE; K Venkat Uzwal, State Director, MY Bharat, Andhra Pradesh; and M.S. Vijayendra, Executive Director, attended the programme. Dr. C.K. Jayasankar, Associate Dean of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Amaravati campus, and Dr. Prasada Kumari, Principal-in-Charge, were also present.
