Amit Shah to inaugurate Amul dairy plant in Medak on Oct. 4

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to inaugurate Amul's new dairy processing plant in Medak, Telangana, on October 4. The facility aims to boost local milk processing capacity and supports the government's 'White Revolution 2.0' initiative to expand dairy cooperatives.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in the groundbreaking ceremony of the Sabar Dairy Project and inaugurate Amul’s first modern dairy processing plant in Telangana at the Urja Industrial Park in Toopran, Medak district, on Sunday.
The newly-established Amul unit has an initial milk processing capacity of five lakh litres per day (LLPD). It will also produce 200 metric tonnes of curd per day, along with 30 kilolitres per day (KLPD) of buttermilk, including plain, masala and bottled probiotic variants. The facility is designed to manufacture 30 KLPD of lassi in cups and pouches and 10 metric tonnes of paneer per day.
