NEW DELHI: Union home minister Amit Shah Monday emphasised enhanced training for implementing the country's first-ever counter-terrorism and counter-radicalisation doctrine, Prahaar, and expediting trial in cases with cross-border linkages by bringing back fugitives and using trial in absentia to bring foreign-based masterminds to justice.In his inaugural address at the two-day National Security Strategies Conference, being attended by over 850 officials from the security forces, agencies and police forces, Shah directed that an artificial intelligence-based analysis of information available on multi-agency centre (MAC) platforms be done to create standard operating procedures to counter various security challenges.The Union minister instructed all the agencies to take strict measures against infiltration and asked police forces to adopt a comprehensive and integrated approach while investigating Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act cases.The first day of the conference focused on discussing critical aspects of national security, including response to…
