Amino acids and a bone mineral may help control magnesium implant breakdown, three student papers suggest

Researchers at Chalmers University of Technology have published findings on how amino acids and bone minerals can regulate the degradation of magnesium implants. This discovery could improve medical implants by allowing them to dissolve safely after bone healing.
