The upgraded cabin adds sliding doors, wireless charging, and more storage. The Flagship Suite is already flying on American's Boeing 787s and Airbus A321XLRs. American Airlines' largest Boeing widebody plane just got a major makeover. On Wednesday, the airline unveiled its new Flagship business class suites for its 20-strong Boeing 777-300ER fleet. American said it's the most premium-packed jet in the US, with 144 premium seats in total: 70 business-class suites, 44 premium economy seats, and 30 extra-legroom Main Cabin Extra seats. The 777-300ER is the third aircraft type American has fitted with the upgraded Flagship Suite. The cabin debuted on newly delivered Boeing 787-9s in June 2025 and later launched on the Airbus A321XLR in December 2025.
