Alleigha Botner took the stand in Miami County, Ohio, on Wednesday and Thursday to testify in Flynn’s trial. During her testimony Thursday, the 24-year-old read aloud text messages allegedly sent to her by Caleb Flynn, 40. In some of them, Caleb Flynn indicated he wanted his wife “gone,” even if it meant “ruining my daughters’ lives.”
“You know I hate her,” Caleb Flynn said of Ashley Flynn in one of the messages, as seen in footage obtained by local NBC affiliate WLWT . “I can’t even stand the sight of her or the mention of her.”
Botner’s testimony took a particularly emotional turn when she read one particularly jaw-dropping exchange.
