Reflecting on the week-long gathering, Chairperson of the National Movement of Catholic Students (NMCS) Zambia, Nkandu Mwape, described the assembly as a valuable platform that enabled young people to present their recommendations directly to the bishops.
She said the assembly’s theme of journeying with young people underscores the need to mentor youth into becoming responsible citizens and committed Catholics, while encouraging young people to remain united because their voices are important in shaping the future of the Church.
And Vice Secretary of the Catholic Youth Council Zambia, Mr. Anthony Nabita, said the plenary challenged young people to make good use of their talents and opportunities within the Church.
