Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) councillor G. Gopinath on Wednesday urged the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) to restore the photograph of B.R. Ambedkar to a prominent position in the Council Hall at Ripon Buildings.
He said the the photograph of current Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and former CM M.K. Stalin were accommodated over the Mayor and Commissioner’s chairs, and the photos of Thiruvalluvar and Ambedkar were shifted to the opposite wall.
