Amazon debuts two new AI wearable devices that can listen to conversations and help you shop
Amazon has launched two new AI-powered wearable devices, Frontier and Eclipse, designed to record conversations and provide daily insights. The devices integrate with existing apps like Gmail and Alexa to help users manage tasks and recall information.
Why it matters
This marks a significant expansion of Amazon's hardware ecosystem into personal AI assistants that actively monitor and summarize human interactions.
Amazon.com Inc. today debuted two new wearable, artificial intelligence-enabled devices aimed at making everyday life simpler by listening to conversations and helping users remember what matters.
Bee is a personal AI device, coming in the form of Frontier, a wristband, and Eclipse, a credit-card-shaped magnetic snap-on for smartphones. It can listen into calls and conversations, remember important details, allow people to stay more present in the moment and then provide insights into their day after the fact.
These two devices follow Amazon’s 2025 acquisition of the electronics startup Bee, as part of a strategy to offer more of its own wearable AI devices. These two devices are follow-ups to the previous-generation Bee Pioneer, a wristband similar to a Fitbit.
All of this is available for a subscription of around $12 a month. Frontier costs $75 and Eclipse $100.
