Alli urges unconditional release of abducted Oyo NYSC members

The Oyo State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has appealed for the unconditional release of prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members from the state abducted in Imo State while travelling to the NYSC Orientation Camp in Abia State.
Alli, in a statement, described the incident as disturbing, saying the victims were young graduates travelling to undertake their national service and posed no threat to anyone.He appealed to those holding the prospective corps members to release them unconditionally, while expressing solidarity with their families.
“I appeal to those holding these young Nigerians to release them unconditionally. They are innocent graduates, sons and daughters of families who are now living in unbearable pain, fear and anxiety,” he said.
