Keralam Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan has said that all policy-related decisions are being conveyed to the Congress party and the United Democratic Front (UDF). At a press conference here on Friday, he said he would not reply specifically to UDF convener Adoor Prakash’s comments that the Chief Minister was keeping him in the dark about important government decisions.
“As a Chief Minister, I am deferential to the party. I am not someone who is beyond criticism. If there are any mistakes on my part, I am ready to correct it. On occasions in which I am criticised despite doing no wrong, I will try to explain and make the person understand. Our Cabinet includes a cross-section of party leaders, including the KPCC president, two former presidents and the Youth Congress president. All decisions are being discussed with them,” he said.
