Stormers first five-eighths Yaqeen Ahmed was 5 years old when Beauden Barrett debuted for the Hurricanes on his maiden tour of South Africa some 15 years ago.

As he reflected on his previous trips to Cape Town, Barrett recalled playing at the old Newlands Stadium against Stormers and Springboks legends Schalk Burger and Jean de Villiers, both of whom have long retired.

This Saturday morning (NZT), Ahmed, dubbed the chef for his ability to cook on the field, will debut for the Stormers opposite Barrett, the 144-test playmaker he grew up idolising.
