The Northampton Saints player made his 65th cap and looked strong in the scrum and at the breakdown. Put in some industrious work with 14 tackles as well.

Great work in the lineout and linked up well with the rest of the front row to make life hard for the All Blacks at scrum time.

Italy’s scrum wasn’t as effective when he and his front-row partners made their way off the pitch and carried the ball better than almost everyone else for Italy.

Also made his 65th cap and was rightly sent off for a headbutt on Cam Roigard. Carried the ball fairly well but really let his side down with his ridiculous action.
