Alexandra Eala could have an issue she needs to solve after shock defeat to Tatiana Prozorova in Singapore

Alexandra Eala suffered perhaps her worst defeat of the season yesterday, losing to Tatiana Prozorova in her opening-round match at the Singapore Open.
On the surface, such a surprising result could simply be attributed to burnout, with the 21-year-old having maintained a rather gruelling schedule ever since the grass-court season began in June.
Since then, the youngster has featured in nine tournaments, enjoying plenty of deep runs and even claiming her maiden WTA Tour-level title in Washington.
However, when delving deeper into the statistics behind Alexandra Eala 's defeat, a more worrying pattern emerges that could seriously hold her back until she finds a solution.
It must be noted that Eala didn't look like her usual self during her defeat to Prozorova.
She was uncharacteristically lethargic, and found herself outhit by a player who has only just climbed to a new career-high ranking of 140th.
