TikTok star and Grammy nominee Alex Warren has cancelled his only North Island show, at Auckland’s Spark Arena, hours before he was set to take the stage.
The American singer-songwriter performed successful shows on Friday and Saturday at Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch but was forced to cancel his Monday night show “following medical advice”.
“Frontier Touring regret to advise the cancellation of tonight’s (Monday, August 24) Alex Warren concert at Spark Arena in Auckland. Following medical advice, Alex is unwell and unable to perform,” a statement from promoter Frontier Touring said, received by the Herald at 4.15pm.
“Alex is devastated to miss the show and has been looking forward to performing for his Auckland fans. He sincerely thanks fans for their understanding and support.”
