Alert CISF personnel avert fire mishap at High Court premises

Alert CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) personnel deployed for security of the Madras High Court averted a possible fire mishap on Monday after a scooter parked at a screening point, opposite Indian Bank, suddenly caught fire.

The personnel, who were on duty at the screening point, spotted the flames and doused it swiftly.

Sources said the incident passed off without any injury or disruption to the functioning of the court, with normalcy restored at the screening point within minutes.

CISF, which guards the Madras High Court, commended the personnel.
