LEGAZPI CITY - Governor Noel Rosal declared the province of Albay under a state of calamity following 14 deaths and more than 1,785 cases of dengue.Albay is the first province in Bicol declared under the state of calamity. Naga City has also been declared under the state of calamity due to alarming cases of dengue.Citing a report from the provincial health office, Rosal said the disease surveillance data submitted to his office show that the province has recorded a total of 1,785 dengue cases, including 14 deaths, from Jan. 1 to Sept.
