AJK capital to get broadband internet services after months

Fixed-line internet services are set to resume in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, following a court-ordered restoration after months of disruption. However, mobile data services, including 3G and 4G, will remain suspended in the region.

Sources told The Express Tribune that DSL connectivity will also be restored, while 3G and 4G mobile internet services will remain unavailable.
The move is expected to provide some relief to students, businesses, journalists, professionals and households that have faced difficulties accessing online services during the suspension of mobile internet.
