Airport Advisory Committee nominates new members

The Airports Advisory Committee - Madurai airport has nominated a panel of five new members on recommendations of the chairman Manickam Tagore B., Member of Parliament representing Virudhunagar Lok Sabha Constituency.
According to a press release issued here on Saturday, N Jegatheesan, D. Vasudevan, G. Raveendran, V. Shanmugasundaram of Madurai and R. Sreeraja Chokkar of Virudhunagar have been nominated to the committee as its members.
The committee comprises Madurai Collector, Commissioner of Police (Madurai City), Airports Authority of India Madurai Station Director, Madurai MP (co-chairman), Managers of Air India, Air Lanka, Spice Jet, Indigo and others.
The Airport Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled to be conducted on September 16 on the international airport premises here, a press release from Station Director A Muthukumar said.
