Aircraft maintenance students in Telangana to get hands-on training under new MoU

The Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) and the Telangana State Aviation Academy (TGSAA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen practical training and industry exposure for students pursuing the three-year Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) at Jawaharlal Nehru Government Polytechnic (JNGP), Ramanthapur.
Under the arrangement, JNGP will be responsible for student induction and academic coordination, while TGSAA, which will serve as the service provider, will provide experienced instructors, practical laboratory facilities, access to dedicated aircraft and exposure to aircraft maintenance and maintenance-area work.
The programme will combine classroom instruction with laboratory practicals, aircraft familiarisation and systems training during the first 2 years. In the final year, students will undergo practical work experience and industrial training at TGSAA for 2,100 practical hours.
