MUMBAI: Sahar police are investigating the alleged theft of US $2,120 from an Air India cabin crew member’s bag, possibly aboard a New York-Mumbai flight or after it landed at Mumbai airport on September 21.Police registered a case against an unidentified person on September 30 after S Sana, 24, found the money missing when she reached her Mira Road home after duty.She and her husband examined CCTV footage from the airport area but found nothing suspicious.Sana asked police to question her colleague Mavers, whom she suspected of stealing the money. Police summoned Mavers, but no arrest had been made until Friday, an officer said.Sana was assigned duty on Air India flights between Mumbai and New York from September 14 to 21 with 14 other crew members.
