Hailing the annual Puducherry Budget presented by Chief Minister N. Rangasamy in the Assembly, AINRC leader and former Minister K. Lakshminarayanan has said that the governance by the Chief Minister would continue for another five years, as people have immensely benefitted from his long years of public service.
The former Minister, in a statement, said that the Chief Minister, during his 25 years of public service, had presented 18 budgets so far. Many of the welfare schemes in Puducherry were launched by Mr. Rangasamy during his tenure as the Chief Minister of the Union Territory. The 2026-27 Budget presented by the Chief Minister caters to the needs of all sections of society. The welfare measures initiated by the Chief Minister have helped people improve their livelihood, he said.
