AI Spots Hidden Solar Storm Signs 9 Hours Early

Researchers have developed a new AI model called EarlyDetect that identifies precursor signals of solar storms by analyzing magnetic fields and acoustic waves on the Sun. This tool aims to provide earlier warnings for space weather events that could disrupt satellite communications.

The primary conundrum that has eluded researchers is being able to forecast incoming space weather so we can better prepare for its impact.
