The World Digital Architect Conclave (WDAC) 2026, highlighted how organisations are moving beyond treating AI as a standalone capability and are increasingly embedding AI across technology functions.
Speaking at the conclave, Pankaj Jathar, Chief Executive Officer, NIIT Limited, said that the conversation around AI has fundamentally changed over the past year and organisations are no longer asking how to train employees on AI as a standalone skill. They want AI embedded into every technology role and every learning journey, according to a press release.
The AI capability building is gaining momentum across Indian enterprises, particularly in sectors such as automotive, telecom and manufacturing. As organisations scale AI adoption, enterprise conversations are increasingly extending beyond technical skilling to include AI governance, responsible AI adoption, security and workforce readiness.
