The Divisional Railway Manager of the Ahmedabad and the Eastern Railway have confirmed that the train services of the Ahmedabad-Bhagalpur-Ahmedabad Amrit Bharat Express will begin on August 26, 2026.

The Amrit Bharat Express is a non-AC train, equipped for long-distance journeys with sleeper and general coaches.

The Ahmedabad-Bhagalpur-Ahmedabad Amrit Bharat Express will improve the rail connectivity between Gujarat and Bihar, with the train halting at Anand, Tundla, Patna, Abhaipur, Jamalpur Junction, and Sultanganj stations.
The train runs one day per week on both routes. The Ahmedabad-Bhagalpur train will depart every Wednesday at 6.30 pm and reach the following day at 06.40 am .
