Agreement reached in Oberstown dispute
The Fórsa trade union and the Oberstown Children Detention Campus have reached an agreement to resolve a dispute over staffing levels. A ballot is currently underway, and planned industrial action has been paused pending the outcome.

The Fórsa trade union, which represents workers at the Oberstown Children Detention Campus, has said an agreement has been reached to resolve a dispute over staffing levels at the centre.
The sides met at the Workplace Relations Commission yesterday and the talks concluded just after midnight.
Fórsa said a pathway has now been agreed to resolve outstanding issues.
The union will ballot members at Oberstown on a set of proposals today and recommend a yes vote.
Subject to the outcome of the ballot, all industrial action will be paused.
Members of the Fórsa trade union employed at the campus staged a 12-hour strike on Tuesday and were planning to hold a 48-hour strike from next Monday.
"Our progress today was clearly helped by a demonstration of the political will required to move this difficult dispute forward," said Fórsa National Secretary Hazel Nolan.
