Scores of property owners from Rekurthi and other parts of Karimnagar staged a dharna under the aegis of the BRS city committee on Monday, demanding the immediate removal of their properties from the Section 22A prohibited list.
The protesters, including the owners of residential plots and houses, staged a sit-in at the entrance of the Collectorate, alleging that the inclusion of their properties in the prohibited list had prevented them from selling or transferring their holdings.
