The first half of Monday in Latvia is marked by warm and calm weather. According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LVĢMC), at 5:00 AM, the air temperature ranged from +15.2 degrees in Stende to +20.1 degrees in Madona.
In most parts of the country, the sky is clear, with only some cloudiness remaining in certain areas of Kurzeme. No precipitation is observed.
In places, there is some haze, and in Kurzeme, there is fog. The air quality is rated as good. A light northern and northwestern wind is blowing.
The eastern regions of the country experienced a strong thunderstorm the day before. Latgale was particularly affected, where wind gusts in Rezekne reached 21 meters per second.
