HYDERABAD: The probe into a missing couple who allegedly left their home for Switzerland on June 22 has taken an intriguing turn with Cherlapally police discovering that the two collected several crores of rupees from multiple investors, to run a chit fund, before they left town.Cops are now looking into different angles to ascertain the facts of the case.The incident came light when a 23-year-old software professional lodged a complaint with the police on July 8 claiming that her parents, P Chandrasekhar (51) and Swapna (42) have been untraceable since they left home. The daughter also claimed that neither of their phones have been accessible since they went on their Swiss holiday.While police filed a missing person’s case based on her complaint, subsequent probe into the matter threw up a financial angle.
