After $6.25B 'gift' to Trump Accounts, Michael Dell's wife makes an 'appeal' to parents
Susan Dell, wife of Michael Dell, is urging parents to claim funds in 'Trump Accounts', which are tax-advantaged investment vehicles for children. The initiative follows a $6.25 billion donation from the Dells to support the federal program.
Why it matters
The program represents a significant public-private partnership aimed at wealth building for American children through tax-advantaged investment accounts.
Michael Dell’s wife Susan Dell has made an ‘appeal’ to parents and grandparents to claim their child’s money in Trump accounts. The couple attended a press conference alongside President Donald Trump at the Oval Office celebrating the automatic enrollment of millions of American children in the ‘Trump Accounts’. “We believe in you, and we want you to dream big because we know you can make your dreams come true,” Susan Dell said adding “So parents and grandparents, please claim your child's account. These accounts are ready. They're waiting for you, and they have money in them.”The move comes months after Michael and Susan Dell committed $6.25 billion to fund “Trump Accounts” for children in the US.
