⏳ After 1,203(!) days: Schalke celebrate a Bundesliga goal again!

German football club Schalke 04 ended a long goal drought in the Bundesliga during an away match against Union Berlin. The team secured a 2-0 lead, marking their first top-flight goals after three years of relegation and struggle.
Why it matters
This represents a significant emotional and competitive milestone for a historic club and its fanbase after a prolonged period of poor performance.
So far, Schalke's away match at Union Berlin is going absolutely according to plan. The Royal Blues were clearly the better team in the opening stages. They looked solid at the back and kept creating dangerous moments going forward.
It was only logical that the opener came in the 25th minute. The scorer, of all people, was former Köpenick player Robin Gosens . The Germany international therefore chose not to celebrate.
It was a completely different story for the travelling Schalke fans. After an incredible 1,203 days, the Knappen supporters were finally able to celebrate a Bundesliga goal again.
