A Philippine Air Force C-208 patrol aircraft came within 300 feet of a Chinese J-16 fighter over Bajo de Masinloc on Oct. 3 in what was described by the Armed Forces of the Philippines as "dangerous, coercive, and aggressive" maneuevers by the foreign aircraft.
The AFP said the Chinese fighter positioned itself near the Philippine aircraft and attempted to expose it to jet wash while the PAF crew remained professional and safely completed its mission.
